WEATHER POLICY
In the event of a lightning event that impacts the event the following will be implemented:
- PNL will need to be halted if there is lighting within 8 miles of the facility (WeatherBug App will be utilized)
- After lightning, a 30 minute delay will occur.
- If lightning occurs or is within 8 miles all participants will be asked to shelter in their cars.
- Text Message communication will be used to provide updates due to weather related issues (see below)
- If a game is interrupted by weather, that game will NOT be resumed.
- If games are more than half way complete (14+ minutes) the score at the time of the games end will be counted and recorded. Games that are less than half way complete, will be counted as a tie.
- We will stay on/close to schedule. Once 15 minutes into a scheduled unstarted game has passed, we will not play that game. If games need to be cancelled due to weather delays, we will count those games as ties in the standings and continue on in the schedule.
